Kyle MacLachlan and Sean Young

Kyle MacLachlan actually got his start on Dune, playing Paul. However, before he earned his role as Paul, Kyle attended the University of Washington, in the home state. After Dune, Kyle has starred in movies such as Twin Peaks, The Flintstones, Hamlet, Showgirls, and Blue Velvet.

Sean Young is a well established actress who first portrayed Chani on the big screen in Dune. Before she landed the role of Chani, Sean was a professional dancer and model. Her first professional stage performance was "Stardust." Since Dune, Sean has played in films such as Blade Runner, Fatal Instinct, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

Alec Newman and Barbora Kodetová

Alec Newman was born in Scotland where he began pursuing a career in football. However, after an injury, Alec turned to acting as a career. He made his first television debut on The Moth, and later on Murder Rooms. Alec has also starred in films such as Bright Young Things, GMT: Greenwich Mean Time, and television movies such as Frankenstein. However, he has also performed on stag alongside Cate Blanchett in "Plenty." After his portrayal of Paul in Sci-Fi's Dune and Children of Dune, Alec became more international known. Currently, he lives in London.

Barbora Kodetová was born into a long line of famous Czech actors. Barbora's father was Jirí Kodet. However, Barbora (some times credited as Barbara or Bára) has made a name for herself in Czech films and television. She has stared in Rivers of Babylon, Ucitel tance, and Redakce, most recently. It is her portrayal of Chani in both Sci-Fi’s Dune and Children of Dune that has made Barbora’s face known to international audiences. Since Dune, Barbora has also had a role in The Prince and Me.
